Jjungl Seller Terms
This document outlines our Terms of Use. The Terms are a legally binding contract between you and Jjungl.
This contract sets out your rights and responsibilities when you use Jjungl.com so please read it carefully. By using any of our Services (even just browsing one of our websites), you’re agreeing to the Terms. If you don’t agree with the Terms, you may not use our Services.
Jjungl is a Marketplace
Jjungl is a marketplace that allows users to offer, sell and buy just about anything in a variety of pricing formats and locations.
Jjungl does not have possession of anything listed or sold through Jjungl, and is not involved in the actual transaction between buyers and sellers. The contract for the sale is directly between buyer and seller. eBay is not a party to the transaction and is not a traditional auctioneer.
While we may provide pricing, postage, listing and other guidance in our Services, such guidance is solely informational and you may decide to follow it or not. Jjungl does not review users' listings or content. While we may help facilitate the resolution of disputes through various programmes, Jjungl has no control over, and does not guarantee the existence, quality, safety or legality of, items advertised; the truth or accuracy of users' content, listings or feedback; the ability of sellers to sell items; the ability of buyers to pay for items; or that a buyer or seller will actually complete a transaction or return an item.
Your Account with Jjungl
You’ll need to create an account with Jjungl to sell your products on the platform. Here are a few rules about accounts with Jjungl
A. You must be 18 years or older to use our Services. Minors under 18 and at least 13 years of age are only permitted to use our Services through an account owned by a parent or legal guardian with their appropriate permission and under their direct supervision. Children under 13 years are not permitted to use Jjungl or the services. You are responsible for any and all account activity conducted by a minor on your account, and there may be commercial products or services available that you may want to consider limiting a minor's access to material online.
B. Be honest with us. Provide accurate information about yourself. It’s prohibited to use false information or impersonate another person or company through your account.
C. Choose an appropriate name. If you decide to not have your full name serve as the name associated with your account, you may not use language that is offensive, vulgar, infringes someone’s intellectual property rights, or otherwise violates the Terms.
D. You're responsible for your account. You’re solely responsible for any activity on your account. If you’re sharing an account with other people, then the person whose financial information is on the account will ultimately be responsible for all activity. If you’re registering as a business entity, you personally guarantee that you have the authority to agree to the Terms on behalf of the business.
E. Protect your password. As we mentioned above, you’re solely responsible for any activity on your account, so it’s important to keep your account password secure.
F. Let's be clear about our relationship. These Terms don't create any agency, partnership, joint venture, employment, or franchisee relationship between you and Jjungl.
G. You may not transfer or sell your account and User ID to another party unless advised and acknowledged in writing by Jjungl. If you are registering as a business entity, you personally guarantee that you have the authority to bind the entity to this agreement.
Fees and Billing
You are responsible for paying all fees and applicable taxes associated with using Jjungl. Jjungl provides both automatic and manual payments.
All vendors registering with Jjungl from 1st Sep 2022 do so on a 12% commission basis for the Standard Sellers Account. This is a ‘flat-fee’. It means that vendors are paid 88% of their order value plus the full value of the shipping. Jjungl will settle your account weekly, once funds from the buyer have been received and the 12% commission has been deducted.
Legal Compliance and Taxes
You shall comply with all applicable domestic and international laws and regulations regarding your use of the Site and any Jjungl service and, if applicable, your listing, purchase, solicitation of offers to purchase, and sale of items. In addition, you shall be responsible for paying any and all taxes applicable to any purchases or sales of items you make on the Site and that are applicable according to national and international law.
What can be sold on Jjungl
Jjungl is a unique marketplace. Buyers come here to purchase natural products that they might not find anywhere else. Everything listed for sale on Jjungl must be natural, organic or plant-based and ethically sourced.
If you sell on Jjungl you agree that: Your products are made from natural ingredients and are free from harmful chemicals. Natural ingredients can come from a plant, mineral, or microbial ingredient; amongst many other natural properties. In order for it to be natural, it needs to have been produced naturally, using little or no artificial processing.
Natural ingredients can also be extracted using more simple processing methods, such as natural chemical reactions, and can also be the result of a natural biological process too.
Listing Description: By listing an item on the Site you warrant that you and all aspects of the item comply with Jjungl’s policies, including these Terms and Conditions and any other policy that may be published from time to time.
You also warrant that you may legally sell the item. You must accurately describe your item and all terms of sale in your shop. Your listings may only include text descriptions, graphics, images, and other content relevant to the sale of that item. All items must be listed in an appropriate category with appropriate tags.
Each listing must accurately and completely describe the item/items for sale in that listing. If the “in stock” quantity is more than one, all items in that listing must be identical.
Each unique item must have its own listing.
You are using your own photographs or video content —not stock photos, artistic renderings, or photos used by other sellers or sites.
Shop Policies: All sellers are urged to outline shop policies for their shop. These policies may include, for example, shipping, returns, payment, refund, and selling policies. Sellers must create reasonable policies in good faith and must abide by such policies. All shop policies must comply with Jjungl’s site-wide policies. Sellers are responsible for enforcing their own reasonable shop policies. Jjungl reserves the right to request that a seller modify a shop policy.
Binding Sale: All sales are binding. The seller is obligated to ship the order or otherwise complete the transaction with the buyer in a prompt manner, unless there is an exceptional circumstance, such as: (a) the buyer fails to meet the terms of the seller’s listing (such as payment method), or (b) the seller cannot authenticate the buyer’s identity. The buyer is obligated to deliver appropriate payment for items purchased unless there is an exceptional circumstance.
Fee Avoidance: The price stated in each item listing description must be an accurate representation of the sale. Sellers may charge reasonable shipping and handling fees to cover the costs of packaging and mailing the items. Sellers may not charge excessive shipping fees or otherwise avoid fees, misrepresent the item’s location, or use another user’s account without permission.
As part of a transaction, you may obtain personal information, including email address and shipping information, from another Jjungl user. Without obtaining prior permission for Jjungl related communications, Jjungl has not granted you a licence to use the information for unsolicited commercial messages. Without limiting the foregoing, without express consent from the user, you are not licensed to add any Jjungl user to your email or physical mailing list.
Breech: Without limiting any other remedies, Jjungl may, without notice, and without refunding any fees, delay or immediately remove content, warn the Jjungl community of a user’s account privileges, terminate a user’s account, prohibit access to the Site, and take technical and legal steps to keep a user off the Site and refuse to provide services to a user if any of the following apply:
· Jjungl suspects a user has breached this Agreement, the Privacy Policy, or other policy documents and community guidelines incorporated herein.
· Jjungl suspects a user is selling products which include harmful chemicals.
· Jjungl is unable to verify or authenticate any of your personal information or Content.
· Jjungl believes that a user is acting inconsistently with the letter or spirit of Jjungl’s policies, has engaged in improper or fraudulent activity in connection with Jjungl or the actions may cause legal liability or financial loss to either Jjungl or its users.
No warranty
Jjungl, officers, directors, employees, and suppliers provide Jjungl website and services “as is” and without any warranty or condition, express, implied or statutory. Jjungl specifically disclaims any implied warranties of title, merchantability, performance, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. In addition, no advice or information (oral or written) obtained by you from Jjungl shall create any warranty.
Liability limit
In no event shall Jjungl and (as applicable) its officers, directors, employees or suppliers be liable for any damages whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, general, special, compensatory, consequential, and/or incidental, arising out of or relating to the conduct of you or anyone else in connection with the use of the site, Jjungl services, or this agreement, including without limitation, lost profits, bodily injury, emotional distress, or any special, incidental or consequential damages.
