Hello! We are Charlotte and Hayley the face’s, brains and formulators behind KoR Skin Care. KoR Skin Care is the embodiment of our combined backgrounds in beauty, science and photography. Charlotte's journey began in a botanical hair and beauty salon, but her passion for the world of science led us to take a different path. Working as a mentor to budding scientists in a laboratory, she stumbled upon a disconcerting revelation: everyday cosmetics from well-known companies often contained toxic and harmful ingredients in their formulations. It was at that moment we knew she needed to merge her beauty and science expertise to be part of the natural and non-toxic cosmetic movement. Kōhī was founded in the midst of the pandemic in 2021 and it all began in my kitchen.  I decided to embark on the journey of mental, emotional and physical wellbeing and which started with positive affirmations. I soon realised that I was infusing positive affirmations in everything I was doing especially when I handmade scrubs to add to my night time routine.  This was creating a positive effect in every aspect of my life and healing had taken place.
